Originally for Mahwah, NJ, Jenny Martin-Rudaz with Mindy Mineto at Stonehenge Farm in Suffern, NY, as a junior. Mindy would invite the great horsemen, Victor Hugo-Vidal and George Morris, to guest train her students. Jenny was fortunate to had to opportunity to regularly learn from these legendary horsemen. She qualified for the AHSA Medal Finals and ASPCA Maclay Finals (held at Madison Square Garden). She also ribboned in the equitation at Devon and Harrisburg.




After the tragic and sudden death of her beloved hunter, Jenny deferred acceptance at William & Mary and accepted a training and riding position with her trainer, Mindy at Stonehenge. In the summer of 1984, Jenny was offered a training and riding position at Overpeck Inc. with Steve and Linda Shahinian. There she trained their daughter, Nikki, and other students to multiple championships in the ponies, juniors, equitation and amateurs. She also showed client’s horses in professional hunter divisions and qualified them for Devon, Harrisburg, Washington and the National Horse Show. While at Overpeck, she gain invaluable experience at horse show management and course designing. Jenny also establish Grasmere Farm, LLC, in which she purchased, trained and sold young high quality hunters. She also dabbled in Overpeck’s race horse division as an exercise rider at Aqueduct, Belmont, Monmouth and The Meadowlands, and helped break their 2-year-olds.




Jenny met Emerson Burr on the show circuit in 1985. In January of 1988, Jenny began her training and riding position at Fairfield County Hunt Club. In 2001, she became Head Trainer and has continued the tradition of developing rider with a strong horsemanship foundation. Through the years, Jenny has taken riders to top placing at many national, regional and state finals and horse shows in a wide range of divisions from Children’s ponies to the Medal-Maclay.
