Equestrian & Horse Shows

Riding Membership

The Fairfield County Hunt Club (FCHC) offers competitively priced, riding-only memberships for children, adults and college students.

Riding lessons are taught seven days a week, in small groups, and are scheduled by appointment. Our highly skilled instructors teach all levels of equitation, hunters, and jumpers.

Lessons are taught on your privately owned horse or one of our Club animals. The Club maintains 10-15 quality horses and ponies for our lesson program.

Lessons & Training

At FCHC, new riders are carefully evaluated and matched with the best suited school horse. They begin with private, one-on-one lessons with the trainer. This approach establishes a strong foundation in a comfortable and safe environment.

As new riders gain confidence and skills, the trainer will place them in an appropriate group lesson with two or three other riders.

FCHC has introductory and annual memberships for riding. Please contact Heidi at [email protected] for details.

Boarding

FCHC can accommodate up to 120 horses. Each horse is treated as a distinct individual. The professional grooms, trainers, and barn manager all monitor each animal closely and create personalized feeding, veterinary and training programs.

The Fairfield County Hunt Club offers riding lessons every day for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. For years, the Hunt Club has provided the right environment for all equestrians at its beautiful facility. The Club has successfully met the needs of members, from those who wish to compete at the highest levels to those who wish to enjoy the pleasure of recreational riding.
